Cubase 13 (Mac) - Library Manager Content Transfer To External SSD

Hey all,

I am running Ventura 13.5.1 on a Mac Studio M2 Max.

I downloaded Cubase 13 and it’s working perfectly, but somehow, the library manager is not allowing me to transfer the content to an external SSD. It keeps saying that the content transfer has failed.

I’ve looked through multiple threads before posting this, would be very grateful for any help. Thank you!

This is just a wild guess, but - does the library manager have access to the external SSD. It would have to be able to access removable volumes.

Settings => Privacy and Security => Files and Folders

How exactly to get the “removable volumes” setting in there, I’m not sure. Sorry.

Thanks for your reply. The SteinbergMediaBayServer has access to files and folders and removable volumes. I’m assuming thats the one?

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. The Media Bay is a different component from the Library Manager, as far as I know.

Another option is to allow the Library Manager to have full disk access.
