I just spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out why Cubase 13 only allowed me to “Save As…” but not “Save” or 'Save New Version". If anyone else has the same issue, make sure to enable Full Disk Access in System Preferences / Settings for Cubase 13.
I didn’t receive a prompt to do this from within Cubase, but that would be helpful in future updates!
