just want to report a bug for cubase 13 pro, when i zoom in as much as I can, the folder track doesnt expand. the others do but the one on guitar bus doesnt. the reason I want to expand the guitar folder track is to disable group editing since when i select one audio file it selects multple on the same timeline.
Normally, the group tracks (same for FX tracks) get created in a system folder for groups. This one is not expandable.
You need to create the group tracks outside that folder or move them to your self created folder track.
Ah I see thanks! looks like I need to readjust my template because when i manually made a folder track and dragged them into it it worked.
It was intentional that the system folders for group or FX tracks behave different from the user created folders.
But I agree, there is room for improvement.
Same here. It worked when I created the track, but now it can’t be resized. I really don’t see a reason for a folder to lacke the capability to be resized. This is still an issue in Cubase 14.
But you understand that you should not use one of the Cubase system folders for this but rather a user created folder?
I realize this isn’t a bug, but it’s just weird and something that made me think it was a bug. I’m a bit frustrated after running into seven actual long standing bugs in the last 48 hours. I do the research, and there are posts from years back with people exposing what doesn’t work correctly. I’m sure the long standing Cubase users know what to avoid, but right now it feels like mine field that undermines my confidence in the program. Media Bay, especially when it comes to presets, is a buggy mess.
And yeah, I understand how it works now.
