On my new PC “Download Assistant” indicates the following products of mine available for download:
Cubase AI 11
Cubase AI 13
Cubase AI/LE Content Packs
Dorico SE 5
LoFi Piano
I installed, in addition to Dorico SE 5, Cubase AI 13 (with HALion Sonic 7.1.0 - Instrument and HALion Sonic Selection - Content), which works correctly (at least the functions tested so far).
On the Steinberg Website I saw that it is possible to upgrade Cubase AI 13 to Cubase Elements 13, so I chose to purchase the upgrade to Cubase Element 13 and the following appeared: “Upgrade Elements 13 from Cubase LE 13, Cubase LE 12, Cubase AI 13, Cubase AI 13 for € 24.99”.
I added it to the cart, but two items appeared in it:
Cubase Elements 13 Upgrade from Cubase AI&LE 12-13 €24.99
Cubase Elements 13 Update from Cubase Elements 12 €14.99
Since Cubase Elements 12 is not installed on my PC, I emptied the cart. I repeated the procedure and the two entries still appeared.
What should I do? Delete the second entry? Or am I missing something?
Tank you.
P.S. In eLicenser I see a Soft-eLicense key, I assume related to Cubase AI 13, but I’m not sure.
Does it work to remove only this update from the cart and leave the other one there? Maybe it’s some glitch in the shopping system.
You don’t need an eLicenser to run Cubase 13. The eLCC is still installed together with the other Steinberg utilities. It also creates a Soft eLicenser on your disk if there isn’t one yet. You can just ignore it.
Yes. I can remove the second entry. So tomorrow I’ll try to buy only the first upgrade.
Thank you.
