Can anyone point me to where it’s specified what versions of Cubase come with Melodyne LE? I currently have Cubase AI 13 and I can use melodyne as an insert but only as a trial version.
I’m sure I read it somewhere on the Steinberg website what versions included a Melodyne LE license and some other useful plugins. I can’t find that info anymore or was it a limited offer?
Hi @Transmission,
first of all: welcome to the forum!
Not sure if I understand you correctly:
are you referring to Steinberg’s recent Cubase Sale which started in late March 2024 and ended in late April?
If so, then this was indeed a limited sales offer including said plug-in freebies.
Only those who held / hold a license for Cubase Pro / Artist 13 had been eligible to also receive a license voucher for Celemony’s Melodyne 5 essential (which is the entry level version of Melodyne 5 that works either stand-alone, or as an ARA 2 plug-in inside Cubase).
Apart from all that, no version of Cubase regularly comes with any version of Melodyne.
Hope this helps.
Greetings,
Markus
