Cubase 14.0.10 ModSripter constantly Crashing/BugReport!

Hi,

this is a bug report issue ! please correct me if this is not the right place to put them.

This happens allways and constantly by pasting more than one line of code in to the ModScripter at once. I copy and paste code from a text file in to the Modscripter and it directly crashes!! one line by line is working ok, but is not a great workflow

  1. creating new project
  2. creating new instrument track (with Roli-Equator2 VST3)
  3. adding a modscripter and open modscripter window
    4.pasting code (command+v) = crash!!

Im on a Macbook pro M1, sequoia 15.1 using Cubase Pro 14.0.10

This is not a coomon occurrence. Can you please post your .ips crash files? Since you are a newcomer to this forum your account is yet a bit restricted but uploading a crash file should already work if I remember correctly.

I mentioned .ips crash files, you uploaded an .rtf file. Not sure why you decided to do that.

i copied the report in to text edit to save it that way…
but here is the log file:)

My last attempt. You should find the .ips crash files here:
macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports)

The file name should end with .ips

also 14.20 not work, also crashing or stuck whole daw

In new updates 14.0.10-20, this also does not work properly . The program freezes

Pasting doesn’t freeze Cubase on my side. That means it is not generally broken. There have to be circumstances.

On Windows 10 x64 latest build when im pressing Ctrl+A for replace the already shown comments and pressing Ctrl+V to paste a new script its freezes

also i tried to change encoding of a text this not work this is my presets for cubase modscripter

also this happening when i try to edit this presets in mod scripter and save them or replace this code or select all code and paste a new

Thanks, with your scripts I was able to reproduce the crash. To circumvent the crash until we release the next bugfix release, please don’t use Windows Line Endings in your scripts. I have converted your scripts to use Unix Line Endings:
