Cubase 14 and NI MK3 s88

Hi , does anyone experience this:
As I load Kontakt 7 or 8 or Komplete Kontrol in a track, the display of my controller follows exactly the computer graphics. I downloaded all the lastest drivers and the new Cubase 14 pro.
A few weeks ago, without any warning, this function has disappeared and doesn’t seem to reappear. Is it Cubase (11 and 13 too) that prevents this?

If it happens in older versions as well, I would suspect Kontakt/Komplete Kontrol.
I don’t own MK3 but an MK2, so some things have surely changed in MK3. However, I suppose that the core implementation is the same.
So, can you open Komplete Kontrol VST, click the QC button and send here a screenshot of the 8 parameters shown?
Here’s mine:

The very first parameter (NIKBxy) is the one responsible for letting the controller know which instance is currently selected. If you have the same, then the problem may be in a NIs update for the controller.

If I understand correctly, the problem is the auto focus on MK3.

As m.c. pointed out
Make sure your MK3 firmware is updated to the latest.

if this doesn’t fix the problem follow the instructions here:

Nope, I have the latest MK3 firmware, Cubase 14.
I followed your steps, but nothing changes.
In the dropdown menu I can not choose Mk3 , It stays all greyed out.
In the beginning I installed it correctly, but something is changed without warning.

But that’s the KK plugin and not the setup for the keyboard in cubase

I and the customer service helper of Bax-Shop in Goes (NL) suggested that Windows Update caused this problem after testing all the settings.
Not the fault of Native Instruments, or Steinberg!
I was able to bring my computer back to an earlier state (sept 2024), and all the functions are back now!
I’m very happy with the help of Bax-shop. We talked for 45 minutes!
