I’m trying to use Wavelab 12 as an extention in Cubase 14. The audio clip plays fine without the extension, but as I switch to Wavelab, there is no sound at all when playing the clip. Everything looks normal in the window, just no sound.
I’ve tried enabling the Studio → Audio System → Release Driver when Application is in Background.
The clip plays fine in Wavelab as a standalone. Switching of the ARA extension in Cubase, the clip plays fine again.
Okay, SOLVED my own problem before posting so posting anyway as I’ve seen a few posts about this. I noticed the sample rate was set to 48000Hz in the Wavelab extension window. Resampling to match the Cubase project at 44100Hz sorted it out.
