Cubase 14 Artist Mixdown and Metering

Hello everyone

I am new to Cubase and have 2 questions.

Is it really not possible in the Cubase Artist version to export individual tracks, not as a master, at the same time? I edit the live backing tracks for my band and there are 6 channels for each song. Do I have to have the Pro version to export them all together as separate .wavs?

In my previous DAW I could normalize each track or even each event individually to LUFS-I. I have to do this so that the FOH engineer always has the same levels (the tracks were not always produced in the same way, so I still have to level them). This doesn’t seem to be possible in Cubase, correct? Is there an easy way to achieve the same goal? Simply using a limiter doesn’t make sense to me, as some tracks could then be too quiet.
I have created all the songs in one big project.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome,

  1. yes, only the pro version has the advanced audio export window where you can export many channels at once.
  2. as far as I know, LUFS-normalizing is also only available in Pro.

You can compare what’s in each here
