Does anyone know why edit options are unavailable for an audio event??? The only walkaround for me is Ctrl+D to duplicate this event. I opened this project in C13 and all works ok.
I can’t replicate. (Windows 10, Cubase Pro 14.)
Is this consistent throughout multiple projects?
Ok. I tested it. It happen when Combined Selection Tool is on - in this mode you can selected only one event for copy only by clicking the upper part of an event (with range selection tool) - but when you select it with an arrow - copy paste is not available. Hope this is a bug and will be fixed.
At this point - being in Combined Selection Tool mode I cannot selected and copy multiple selected events at once!!! This is a disaster for me. It worked well in Cubase 13. They messed up something.
I can confirm, an Event selected with the Combined Selection Tool does not allow you to Cut/Copy as you would expect.
See this video:
Yes, please fix this Steinberg.
I did another topic about this yesterday. I have this on Mac too.
Now, the Combined Selection Tool is more essential than ever (at least for me) with the new audio event volume. Very disappointing to see such a bug.
Can't copy audio events with Combine Selected Tools C14 - #3 by battleangel
Same issue here.
Steinberg should fix it immediately as the combination tool is one of the most useful features.
I have the same problem when trying to copy and paste now !
Hi, thanks for the report. I’ve replied in another thread already, we’re working on a fix with high priority. It’ll work again with the next maintenance update. We’re sorry for the inconvenience!
Cheers Dirk
I did a quick video about this… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXyF61nQGQw. Not that you need to watch it, Just disengage the combine took click outside the event then click back and it works for an edit or two.
