I tried the cubase 14 trail and the drum sequencer sounds great, will there be a transport , play button added to future release so we can run the drum sequencer independent of the daw transport to work out ideas?
I am not sure what you mean to be honest…
There are a variety of different versions available e.g. Cubasis for mobile devices.
Is it something like this you are looking for?
If you are talking about using Cubase on different devices at the same time, like on a laptop - you can run three instances of Cubase on different devices at the same time.
Just referring to the new sequencer on a pc running cubase, would be helpful if it had a built in transport control in the sequencer to run the sequencer without having to press play on daw transport ,

Are you by any chance referring to a remote control? Have a look at Cubase iC Pro in that case. Other than that I am running out of ideas what you could mean…
Do you mean the new pattern editor in C14? I don’t think that can play withou playback running, I haven’t really used it though. Would be a good idea, though, to have a separate playback of the current pattern.
Yes that’s it, having a play , transport built into the cubase 14 drum sequencer so we can work out ideas without having to loop the daw , I will update topic title
