Is there any way to disable the grid completely? It is useless to me. I need to be able to select parts without it.

Hi,

The Grid can also be set to the Timecode or other values, which might be more useful for you.

To disable any kind of snapping to the Grid, disable the Snap to Grid (J).

Thanks for the reply. I’m new to this version so how do I do it? Which buttons to press basically. The J shortcut does nothing by the way

or this - if “j” doesn’t work for you, that suggests the default has been changed.
