Hello
All of a sudden Cubase 14 Pro started freezing, I already rebooted several time, but nothing.
This is happening with every project I try to open. Nothing was changed since the last time I have used it.

Hi,
Do I uderstand you correct, these freezes happen while opening projects?
Most of the freezes are in the old Microsoft Windows WDM MIDI Driver. Enable the WinRT driver in the Studio > Studio Setup in Cubase, to avoid this old MIDI driver, please.

Hello
And thanks for the quick response.
They both happen after I open the project, the project hangs, or while I am opening the project, it crashes before I reach the project window/mixing console.
Everytime I have to open the task manager and manually kill the Cubase process.
After a bit of fiddling I have switch off my Volt audio interface and open the project again with the standard Steinberg ASIO drivers, this time the project opened without problem and no crashes, then I have switched on the Volt again (setting back the Volt drivers) and now it seems working without issues. Not sure what it could have happened.
I will change the driver as well as you suggested.
Thanks.
