I’m an old time user, it’s never come easy this side of things. I have just brought Cubase 14 out of the crypt. It’s updated. I am rusty.
I had sound output today through my speakers, but now it is lost.
I have an audio track looping. There is activity in the greenish bar, so something should output but I have silence.
I have a focusrite 18i20. Everything seems to be set up correctly there (and the system plays back other stuff like videos and from keyboard).
I use control room. I have a simple stereo-out bus, only, in control room. The outputs 1 and 2 are red.
I looked in Studio Setup/Audio and they are marked as “inactive”. Clicking on them does not make them active.
Confession: I was fiddling about trying to get my keyboard Audio into Cubase -successfully, maybe I did something else wrong.
What is the plot please? How do I activate them?
