Cubase 14 Pro Crashes when Opening LABS VST

Hey guys.

Just tried creating a new Virtual Instrument with LABS, but everytime I do Cubase simply crashes. Any solutions out there?

Which Labs version do you use?
Are you on Windows, Mac?
System…?

So I’m using a Mac Mini M4 Pro with Cubase 14 Pro. What happens exactly is that I just try to create a virtual instrument and choose LABS. Once I click Create, Cubase just closes itself.

Hi!

  1. Can you try to open LABS as a Standalone? Perhaps it has nothing to do with Cubase - does it close as well?
  2. Have you updated LABS, yet? There have been a lot of updates lately.
  3. Does Cubase create a crash file which you could upload here?

Hi! I’m sorry it took me this long to respond.
So yeah I am able to open LABS as a standalone instance. Yes, it is updated.
I really don’t get a message, Cubase just closes with no further notice.

I’ve Been having the same problem, do you have an update ?
I’m lost… sent an email to Spitfire - they asked for the crash log, so I sent it. but since then no answer…
