Hello there. I recently picked up a new Mac Mini M4 Pro. When I install Cubase (using the Steinberg Download Assistant) and after my installs are done, it adds over 300GB of size in the storage on my internal SSD (System Settings/General/Storage. My internal SSD is 512GB. Before the Cubase installation, My storage number was 87GB. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance!

are you sure that you installed Cubase plus licensed/related content only? It should be somewhere around 70 to 100 gb max if you installed all libraries and content that come for free.
Please, have a look at the Steinberg Download Assistant - there’s a header called “My Product Download”. This is what you are looking for. Everything else requires additional licensing.

you can go to the library manger and move halion and sample libaries etc to an external drive. Cubase 14 pro itself is only 708 MB downloaded. that is all you “need” to run Cubase. if you install a lot of other software like Groove agent that will eat space too.
