Maybe it’s an Apple issue, works as expected on my Windows setup.
that’s do you can input a value, and /or tab to the next value.
Very fast workflow
As a long time Cubase user ( since the days of Atari ) I consider this a bug.
I expect the plugin GUI to behave consistently like all the rest of the plugins from a given developer and I certainly don’t see any need for having a textbox open in editable mode as this is optional, as the plugin should open with default values, or what was saved with the song / arrangement.
But now that you mentioned it, I just checked the standard Compressor as well and it’s got the same issue, so maybe this is a new feature ( which I really don’t see as useful…)
If this is the case, it would make sense to have it in vintage comp and the plugin channel insert versions as well, and this is not the case.
Besides from the fact that is is not present in the Windows version, according to Googly_Smythe’s feedback.
I see it as a bug.
I was able to confirm it on Win 11
I take it back - I was opening the plugin from a different place. Opening from the channel strip I get the same issue. But not when opening as an insert on a track.
It happens to me too, but also in the other compressors as well not only in the tube one…
This bug is still present in the latest update 14.00.20
