Cubase 14 Pro, VST3 and Blocklist

I am currently on Cubase 14 Pro on both Mac and PC. I recently purchased a new MacBook and installed Cubase 14 and all of my VST instruments. Two of the VST3’s could not be installed and have been moved to the Blocklist despite them operating fine in Cubase 14 on both my PC and old MacBook.

It seems from some internet searching that if you have loaded the VST’s on a previous version of Cubase they work even if you have then subsequently upgraded to Cubase 14, yet if you install Cubase 14 as a clean install and then try to load the VST then it rejects them and moves them to the Blocklist

Just wondering whether anyone has a workaround other than loading an older version of Cubase, loading the VST and then doing the upgrade to Cubase 14…that seems a crazy way of fixing it !

Thanks

Have you tried re-activating the plugins on the blocklist?

Have you maybe updated to a silicon processor and the plugs aren’t native silicon?

Yes I have thanks. It fails when I try to do this.

Aaah this might be it ! Re the upgrade to Silicon. Gone from a pre M chip MacBook to an M4. Suspect that is what it is. Thanks for removing my blindfold on this one ! :+1:
