Cubase 14. Sample Editor BUG: Hitpoints to MIDI Notes skip first transient

Windows 10 Pro
Cubase 14.0.10 PRO

As you can see, Cubase doesn’t create the first hitpoint by default. Why do I need to create it manually?

WTR:

  1. Create an audio track and load attached .mp3 file
  2. Create an empty midi track, select this track
  3. Double-click on the mp3 sample in the audio track and then set Threshold: 26%, Intensity: 66%
  4. Select all hitpoints (Ctrl + A)
  5. Press Hitpoints - MIDI Notes
  6. BUG! The first transient wasn’t created in MIDI!
