I happily opted on 07/11/24 for the Cubase 14 60 day trial - mainly because as a Nuendo 13 user we might be waiting until after Christmas for Nuendo 14.
I was a bit disturbed this morning to get a message saying my C14 trial is nearly over.
I think for Nuendo 13 users who may get their upgrade to N14 later Steinberg should hopefully allow extended use of the C14 trial anyway.
I got the email too, but my Steinberg account is showing the trial is active until Jan 2025.
If you sign into Self-Service you should be able to see when the Trial ends. I suspect the email was simply sent out in error.
I think it is just meant as a friendly (although slightly annoying) reminder that you are still working with the trial version. “Soon” can be an hour or three weeks. And it won’t be the last reminder. Nothing to worry about, it’s just common marketing practice.
