Cubase 14 "Undo mixconsole step" slow, laggy behaviour

I can confirm that two quick changes (like pulling two faders down one after the other) will be treated differently in Nuendo 13 and Cubase 14.
In Nuendo I have to undo twice to get the faders back in position, as they are considered as two separate moves. In Cubase 14, if I make the two moves close together, they are treated as one and a single undo restores both faders to original position. I have to wait a couple of seconds between changes for them to be recognised as separate actions.
Regarding the history window, it doesn’t matter how long I wait, no changes are ever reflected in the window - both in V13 and V14. They are always empty.

Just to clarify: Changes in the console won’t ever show up in the project undo history window. They appear in the left zone of the console (history tab).

Thanks. Up until this test, I’ve never used undo history, either in the project window or in the mixer console.

Now check if you see a delay in the mixer history while undoing different moves in the mixer console (plug-ins settings especially).

As mentioned by @huk and me above, if two (or more) changes are made in quick succession, they will all be treated as one event in the history tab as there is a delay in the events showing up in history. So, when you click on undo (either on the arrow or in the history tab) the multiple changes are backed out as one event. This is clearly a bug and differs from Nuendo 13. In Nuendo, no matter how quickly you make multiple changes, the history tab recognises all of them as separate events, as they should.
But, to get back to the title of this thread, when I undo a change, either via arrow or history event, the undo is instantaneous. There is no more lag on Cubase 14 than there is in Nuendo 13, at least not here.

No delay whatsoever. Instantly. Just tested with fader moves and FabFilter Pro Q3.

Are you using the latest C14 version?

Be aware, that with Edit History, the main undo, there is some type of timer set so if you make changes too quickly they will not be recorded. You probably know that, but someone else, who posted a Youtube video about this apparently did not.

I believe the same applies to the Undo MixConsole Step.

When an action is created, it takes just under 1 second. However recalling is practically instant.

As said above, there is a timer set so if you make too many actions too quick, they are not recorded. That is intentional.

This is true, except the timer threshold seems to have changed from V13 to V14. I can make changes very quickly in Nuendo 13 and those individual changes will be recognized with separate events in undo history. Doing the same thing in Cubase 14 can result in one undo event for several changes. As a result, obviously, clicking on the undo arrow or history entry results in several changes being backed out at once, which is not optimal.
