Cubase 14 Vari Audio

hi, new to 14 coming from 12,
cant find the vari audio option when opening a track.
how do i get to vari audio, ? thanks you

it is in the same place if I remember correctly

on 12 it would appear on my left.. but now is different on 14, no left bar with the options

it is still on the left side , just need to pick it under the warp options

you have to activate the left zone if it isn’t showing in your case

bingoo, thanks

Can’t find it on 14 - I have the panel engaged but VariAudio does not show - where might it be??

Well, I found one way to do it - the much longer way than in 13 … double click on the audio you want to use VariAudio on, this brings up the Editor window - double click on the audio in the Editor window and this bring up yet another window and VariAudio is one of the selections in the left panel … there’s got to be a way to put it back in the Track panel where it used to be - I have all three windows open in this image :-}

The panels are exactly where they used to be.
The difference is that you use an audio part.

Observe the additional vertical line on top and bottom of the selected object - that is your clue that this is an audio part; the audio event is inside

Since you use a part, you first open that, then select the proper event inside and then access VariAudio.
It works exactly the same way in previous versions of Cubase.

In case you don’t know what an audio part is:

It seems I needed a system reboot - now it’s set up just like Cubase 13 … go figure :slight_smile: Thanks for the input!
