I think I accidentally touched something and now supervision meter wont
react when i change the level on the track channel
same problem with other analyzer (klanghelm vumt)
can anyone point me to the setting I need to change?
I don’t remember that Cubase behaved like that before

Perhaps you accidentally moved the plugin prefader?
can you tell me where is the setting for the plugin’s pre fader?
already uninstalled and reinstalled cubase , no change
Inserts are pre fader by default. This is how it’s always behaved…You can right click and choose move to post fader slot.
I seem to remember when there were less insert slots the post fade slots were always visible rather than only appearing after you set a plug to post so maybe this is why it seems different.

the plugin was pre fader
when moved it to post it started to behave normal as
expected , too bad i lost all my preferences. i did export my profile in the “profile manager” before uninstalling and imported it back after reinstallation . still i lost all my preferences changes

I hate to say it, but always assume that the problem could be you and not the software. We all make mistakes.
