another thing would be if we could set the way that audio tracks are named in recording. Just think about how many guitar1.wav files that are on your computer? If you ever need to find it in the future finding the correct one is impossible.
It would be better if we could add the song name to it. Especially
since windows no longer has a limited file name issue.
So:
[song-name (shortened to # characters)]-[track-name]-[tk#].[extension]
It should be pretty easy to implement, even if you need to truncate the track names too, as all that data already exists in the project.
I look forward to this request being ignored and instead having some addition that no one has ever asked for instead.
Small: I agree with others about better color flexibility, just give us a Hex field and the ability to save color presets.
Medium: Although you can do Ripple Delete, Iād like it as intuitive as Adobe Premiereā¦ right-click the leftmost track with space, select Ripple Delete and the whole project moves left into place WITH CC lanes staying aligned.
Large: Seamless back-and-forth integration with Doricoā¦ work in one, send to the other all day long and/or until the cows come home.

that would be so amazing to make the modulators from cubase 14 to cv out as well ! that would be so amazing!!!
We were so close! I like where the thinking is going with the undermentioned new feature in Cubase 14 to move selected tracks to first and last available position! Now just give us the option to move selected tracks to an existing folder!! Would be so amazing for organizing sessions and building templates. So amazing.

Itās fantastic having key command access to Insert Activate and Insert Edit by slot number. My OSC touchscreen is getting a lot more use.
ā¦However, is there any chance of amending the Activate Slot Function with an āIf no plugin present, bring up plugin search dialogā
Currently, it will only activate a plugin if one is present in the resepective slot. It seems like common sense to add the functionality of choosing a plugin with the Activate command if none is present?
This is currently only achievable remotely via AutoHotKey mouse click which requires a .dll to pass OSC commands to AHK. This is a pain to implement.
