The requirements on the web site say that Ventura is the minimum OS allowed. Are there some limitations with Monterey?

I think Steinberg will ask you to upgrade if you have some issues.

I’ ve same config. After two months it always works well?

Works perfectly fine for me. Still on Monterey 12.7.6

Yes is still works.

My Mac Pro 2013 on Monterey gets problems with Asio Guard in a small Projekt, which I copied from my Windows PC (only VST3 Plugins).
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Thanks!
Heiko

The performance meter will give you some hints. (Assuming that the problem is audio related)

Hello and thank you for the answer.
I am sure it is audio. MIDI is not present in this project.
On my Windows 11 PC (i9) the audio guard was at a maximum of a quarter. Cubase is up to date on both computers.
Is the CPU on the Mac perhaps too weak? But to be honest, I can’t imagine that. There are about 30 tracks and about 50 plugins. I don’t think that’s a lot. I’ve heard of users who have over 1000 tracks…
I have an RME Raydat connected to the Thunderbold. If I set the buffer size to less than 2048, it doesn’t work at all. Logically, the latency is then very high. In any case, you can’t record anything like that.
Is this perhaps a driver problem? I tested the current and previous driver for the Raydat. No difference. I also updated the firmware. No improvement.
Cubase 14 runs fantastically on my MBP. But Sonoma is installed there…
I’d be grateful for any tips…

Best wishes
Heiko

2048 buffer seems to be fundamentally wrong. What thunderbolt extension are you using? (I use akitio with my RME card on TB3.)

The Raydat is in a Sonnet SE TB2 case. See screenshots…
Everything seems to be working properly.
If I listen to music on Spotify, for example, everything works perfectly. It’s not a real comparison, I know, but maybe it’s a starting point.
