After upgrading to Cubase Pro 15.0.6, the “import tracks from projects” function stopped working properly.
MAC OS ventura, MAC Pro 2019(Intel)
No matter if I choose “Absolute position” or the other 2 options. It’s not importing anything.

How many channels do the tracks have (mono/stereo/Dolby)?
They are all 2-ch stereo.
It seems it only happen when Destination Track is existing tracks. Like “Select Matching”.
It works fine if Destination Track is set to “New Track”

It works on my side. Even if I enable Select Matching and I import to already existing track (with the matching name).
That is very strange.
Seems certain things triggers this problem in this specific project (my template built a year ago in Cubase 12) under this build. In prevous versions and in Cubase pro 14 it’s fine with the exact same procedure. Indeed I am also able to import without problems with other projects.
Hum…how can i dig further…

Also it doesn’t see all the instrument tracks ….
I just tried yesterday to import VIDEO/DIALOGUE/ADR/FX/MUSIC tracks via IMPORT TRACKS FROM PROJECT and had the same result. Selecting “Select Matching” only imported the files into the pool and not on the matching tracks/. I also had to switch it to NEW TRACKS to bring those tracks into my project in Cubase 15.
I just tried a few more times…….If I exclude the VIDEO track then it works as expected for me in Cubase 15. Trying to import the Video track causes the issue an will only import to NEW TRACKS if the video is included for me.
Sorry to hear you’re having this issue. I haven’t experienced any of this and I use Import Tracks almost every day. I was on Ventura and now on Sequoia, and it worked perfectly on both. I hope you can figure out why it’s not working for you!
I’m having this exact issue. Glad it’s repeatable and good to know dropping the video track “fixes” it.

I didn’t install C15 so far - I’m on a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max with a 32GB memory running OS Ventura - as Steinberg system requirements tells at least Sequoia is needed; have you encountered other particular issues?
