Sorry, looks like it was just a one-off as I’ve gone through the same process again and all is well. No crash dump as it was a ‘poof! and its gone’ moment! So both that and the hanging load caused no crash dumps and I just got a ‘terminated unexpectedly’ message when restarting Cubase.
These things happen when you have a lot of tracks and plugins on a big project, so that’s not a biggie for me. More underwhelmed at what is actually included in the new release. I agree that it feels more of a 14.5 than a 15. The new color scheme options haven’t moved things on far enough for me and I still find the text too glaring and bold, but its okay, something I’ve learned to live with since the big UI ‘flattening’ release.
