We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Cubase 15.

A huge thank-you to all our Cubase users around the world. Your ideas, feedback, and passion for music continue to inspire us every day.

This release is the result of countless hours of dedication from teams across many departments, all working toward the same goal: helping you create music more intuitively, creatively, and efficiently. From the new Hub to powerful tools like the melodic pattern modes, the redesigned Expression Maps system, and stem separation, every feature reflects your feedback and our shared love for music creation.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We hope you enjoy Cubase 15 as much as we enjoyed creating it.

You can find all details and videos showcasing the new features and improvements on the Cubase product pages.

Additional relevant information is available in the release notes.

For those looking to dive deeper, a comprehensive overview of all new features is provided in the official user manual.

We’ll do our best to manage feedback in the forum over the next few days. If you come across any issues or have specific questions, please start a new thread instead of posting directly in this announcement. As always, thank you for keeping the discussion constructive and respectful.

Grace period to 14 Pro users is after October 8 2024. I just purchased on september 2025 and 15 pro is nowhere to be found on my accounts. Can anyone help? thanks!

What makes you think this will work?

I think that is a typo, probably meaning October 25, otherwise everyone that upgraded in the last year gets a free update. Highly unlikely.

oh man! if that is the case it is such a bummer :frowning: I was so happy, because i really just purchased 14 pro, on september 18. I lost the grace period for about 20 days. :sob:. Can I still get 15 to repair the broken heart that typo gave me?

Its just guidance; they state it every time in hope… Sometimes people read and listen, sometimes… well, they just post away…:man_facepalming:

This what I’m wondering too: does this update address issues on the audio side - those who play and record actual instruments? Although I prefer Cubase to Protools for most things, there are some audio features that are hard to beat: for example, protools playlist functionality is better than Cubase lanes, and some other things. Cubase is awesome with audio of course, just hoping it can overtake Protools in some of these areas.

Question about forum etiquette and bug reporting: if bugs we reported on as beta testers are still in the full release, can we make new threads about them in this forum? I assume we should, since a larger user base might help in fixing them or narrowing down the causes, but figure I should ask anyway.

Hi @triple_beams, there is no need to post issues here that are already documented in the beta forum. Thanks for asking!

Here are some extra features in C15, re: Score, that didn’t make it into the release notes:

Why oh why oh why would you stick that awful messed up pitiful and somewhat sad reflection on the way the industry is going plugin called OmniVocal in there?! FFS….. what a joke……………………………..

Yeah, I’m with you, I’ve been a die-hard Cubase user for years and I recommend it to everybody I cross paths with…but if this is going to be what it starts to morph into, I’m tempted to switch to a competitor that isn’t poisoning the well.
