Cubase 15 bugs / glitchs

Hi,

Getting a few issues with C15 on Windows 10.

Auto scroll switches off when I left click arrange screen for no reason.

Midi velocity ramp wouldn’t work on snare roll then a bit later it did.

Couldn’t delete part from arrange screen using delete button on keyboard then later it worked after selecting different tracks then back to original.

Audio drop outs for no particular reason on a track so, bounced that track with all FX etc. so as to resolve issue.

Then audio drop outs on a different track which wern’t happening before.

You would expect these drop outs to happen every time if the project has loads of plugins & FX but it doesn’t.

Never had issues before.

Any ideas anyone.

Regards

Hi,

Would you mind describing the issues, please?

If the drop outs reproducibly occur at the same position then the project overloads Cubase.
If the drop outs happen at different positions then it is likely that something on your computer interferes with Cubase. Graphic card driver, network chip driver, USB devices, … anything really.

Hi Martin,

Thought I had described the issues above.

After checking again audio drop outs happen at same time when I go to a drop then back in.

Was playing perfectly before with about 25% Asio then large spike with drop out.

Very few tracks playing.

Will send screen shot when back on Daw.

It’s strange as if I paly song from the beginning it doesn’t always have drop outs.

Only about 10 tracks playing though with one reverb and one delay send.

Thanks for getting back Martin & Johnny :+1:

I’ve encountered issues with multiple mix consoles open on 3 screens. Sometimes one of them is whited out and does not open up at all, and I have to enable a 4th mix cosole and make it the 3rd.

What’s more annoying is that vocalign pro makes the saving process unbearably slow at times, to a point where I keep the track playing while mixing, only to avoid autosaves.

One more thing that would really improve my work flow would be a perfect integration for the Faderport 8, to be able to use the buttons that cannot be assigned.

These issues were present in Cubase 14 as well. I’m a big fan of Cubase , hoping these issues will eventually be resolved.

Hi,

Yes, you changed your original post after I asked you to provide more details.

Could you test your system by using LatencyMon utility, please?

Also, double-check that there is no plug-in in Demo/Trial mode on your system, please.

Hi Martin,

Will give LatencyMon a go.

Please see attached spec of my PC bought from ScanPC specifically made as a music Daw in March 2021.

Shouldn’t be too much latency unless a plugin is causing it.

Kind regards

Mike
