Please change the clip gain control back to the top center of the selected audio clip. Moving it to the bottom left is super easy to accidentally hit the small square and move the clip. The fader is cool, but it would be far better remaining at the top center and much faster to access in quick comping and editing.

You are right, Johnny, I forgot to mention the added modifier functions

I’ve tried everything, with forums, support chat and live phone calls, and even a zoom call with Greg Ondo, and all to no avail. Still cuts through everything on all my Cubase versions including V8 and also 13, 14, and 15/ The cut at cursor function is intermittent cutting only the top layer and also requires many steps, making it quite inefficient compared to a single click. Also requires moving the cursor, which defeats being able to start from the same playback spot while editing. I even did an A I search and tons of stuff about user complaints, including a lot of what I had posted through they years, came up. It was kind of freaky to see. Have been a loyal user since Nuendo V1. It’s going to be a joyous day when this previously perfect working function is resurrected.
