I rolled back windows to the previous update and disabled the windows Midi Service. All DAW’s now initialize as expected

We have a fix for the inMusic (AKAI, RANE, m-audio, etc.) driver bug (which causes most apps, including Cubase to hang when initializing midi) available on our Discord server Windows MIDI / Audio . InMusic is also working on a fix for their driver, but we wanted to get the workaround out to folks as fast as possible. It will be in Windows at the end of May.
Additionally, Korg has publicly posted that their USB drivers are no longer necessary and should be uninstalled because they are incompatible with the new MIDI stack.
Those are the only two issues I’m aware of which causes initialization to fail.
Disabling the MIDI service doesn’t do what you think it does.
