Since I “upgraded” (not sure about that) to windows 11, Cubase freezes when I try to export audio. I have the current Visual C++ programs. Any ideas?

It usually starts ~right away, but for some time now, in my case, it freezes for about a minute before it starts rendering.
The same goes to freeze-track operation - Cubase „waits” about over a minute before it starts and then operation is proceeding smoothly.
Have you tried waiting for it to start rendering?
I started to investigate deeper due to other new glitches with Cubase 13, 14, 15 vs Win 11 interactions. And I’m Cubase user since SX version.
I have waited..a LONG time. I was exporting in the WAV file format. It started slow. As it progressed to around 5-6% I notice that the ‘time remaining to complete’ kept increasing. There are 26 tracks and two FX tracks. There are NO external effects.The total time is a little over two minutes to play the whole song. The time remaining went up to almost an hour and the export was only about 25% complete. I don’t recall the process ever taking this long. I DO remember it needing to export in ‘real time’ when external stuff is used (delay/EQ..etc..). This is VERY frustrating because I LOSE my work when it freezes.
Ok, so yours is a slightly different case - I feel for you.
Sadly, I have no idea where to look in such a case.
