Cubase 4 Updates

I bought Cubase 4 when it first came out. Don’t know the exact version off the top of my head. What is the procedure for updating the software to the latest version? Do I need to install both the latest patch and update (4.5.2.274)?

It seems that steinberg.net disagrees, and the 4.1.x update must be applied first? Either way, I got it updated now.
