Hi Everyone.
I am having a really weird issue with automation of a few plugins inside Cubase 5.5.3 64-bit.
For example, Tonic. When I create an automation lane and set it to go from 0 (fully closed cutoff) to 100 (fully open cutoff) across 8 bars. When I do audio mixdown and listen to the bounced track, the automation is totally off! It sounds like the cutoff remains closed for more than 4 bars before rapidly opening. When I do a real-time export, I get the correct result. But why doesn’t it work with a regular export?
I also tried a couple other 32-bit plugs and I get the same result. All of the plugins I tried are 32-bit, but Cubase itself is 64 bit.
I also tried a couple VST3 plugins that are 64-bit, and the automation works fine when bounced regularly (not real-time)
Can anyone help me with this? I really don’t want to do a real time export of my entire track, just to capture the correct automation.
