Cubase 5.5.3 crashes just after the splash screen finishes

System: MAC OS X 10.7.2

As soon as the splash screen finished loading, the program exits. No errors reported during the splash screen loading.

This behaviour started out of the blue. I reinstalled the 5.5.3 update and nothing happened. The elicencer control center is reporting normal status of the licence.

Try temp renaming any 3rd party Plugins folders and re-starting. Trash Prefs is the next step.

where can i find the 3rd party plugin folders? the pref files location as well ?

renaming the plist file to plist.old did the job! Thanks!
