Cubase 5.5.3 OS X 10.8.1 Retina Pro Mouse not mapping on UI

I can’t seem to use the program on a macbook retina pro. The mouse clicks on other objects, like the pixels are not where they should be. The UI is rendered ok, but it seems that it receives the wrong mouse location upon mouse events. Any workaround? Any fix??

I have to note, Cubase 5 is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.8.
