cubase 5 and superior drummer

hi im new to recording drums on cubase and have superior drummer 2.0 installed. i have figured out how to setup multi tracks with cubase but still dont know how to start recording a drum track. i dont want to use preset grooves as it doesnt fit with my music, id rather create my own. can anyone help me get started or have a link to some help in getting started? im stumped

What do you mean by “start recording a drum track”?

What are you using to trigger the Superior Drummer sounds? A drum kit? Keyboard? Pads on a keyboard? Pads on a pad controller?
