What Cubase edition are you talking about? If it’s Cubase 5 (the highest edition), the license is stored on the USB-eLicenser. Just plug it in and you are ready to go.
I have cubase 9 on my usb…
I dont have cubase 5 … I have just product on cd with code… I think to try it on old pc…

If you have a Cubase 9 license, you can run version 5 without problems. Install it and plug the key on the computer.
