An interesting problem has started to occur since upgrading to 6.06 in a Win7 64-bit system (8G RAM, Intel quad core CPU). I can open a project and work on it however if I close the project and open another, when I subsequently close the second project the GUI crashes with the Windows ‘cubase has stopped responding’ message. Looking at task manager, the Cubase6.exe, VSTbridge are still running so I am assuming that the front end has crashed for some reason.
It didn’t happen with 6.05, however I can’t discount that it may have also been a Windows update that caused it, since there have been a few of those recently as well. Wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour?
