Cubase 6 freezes for a few seconds...

Hello!
I have a problem when working in Cubase 6 (previously was 5.4 …) on the MAC Pro: for any editing, you specify a mouse, you stop playback Cubase freezes for a few seconds and it’s spinning wheel (rainbow), a multi-colored just madden!
Unable to work, the constant stopping and waiting, it will disappear when the rotating wheel. In WaveLab is in there, other programs are not music (including video), this too is not observed. Tell a solution this problem?!
Sincerely. Anatolii

Does it do this all the time or once every so often…if it does it at regular intervals it sounds like auto save?

Check in your preferences & turn it off or have it save less frequently.

Auto save was pissing me off too till I realized what was happening. Not sure why the default is so low. Don’t recall for sure but think it was 15 min. Better to just turn off and remember to save at important milestones IMO.

Thanks for the tip!
Really helped, now you can work and enjoy your creativity!
