Cubase 6 installer crashes

I’ve installed Windows 7 on what is essentially a new machine (replaced the motherboard, processor, and hard drive). I’m trying to install Cubase 6 on it from the DVD. After installing eLicenser stuff, it then gets to something called “activate mp3 trial license” at which point Windows hangs (mouse doesn’t move, etc.). I have to hard reboot my machine. What can I do to overcome this?

False alarm, this isn’t a Cubase issue. I had my hard drive plugged into a SATA port that was for “data only,” whatever that means. I moved it to a different SATA port, and now Cubase installs just fine.
