Hello,
I suddenly can’t open Cubase 6.03 in Windows 7 Professional, even though I’ve been using it for about a month without problems… It hangs while initializing the VST 2x Plugins. I have an Intel 17 processor (950@ 3.07 GHz) and 6 GB of Ram. I am running Cubase 32 bit.
Before this problem occurred, I mistakenly downloaded the Voxendo SPAN VST 64 plugin and put the .dll in Program Files(x86)->Steinberg->Cubase 6-> VST Plugins file folder. Realizing my mistake after Cubase wouldn’t load, I then deleted the Voxengo .dll, but I still am getting the hang and then the crash. I have rebooted, but Cubase won’t open.
Am I wrong for concluding there is something lingering in my computer from the Voxengo plugin that is continuing to crash Cubase 6? Or, is this a standard problem, that I didn’t have previously, but has been discussed by other Windows 7 people here?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
