Basically I’m severely having this problem. Where I click empty project to begin a recording. I’m sorting out bus/vst connection. When everythings done and my saffire 6 is connected right. My vocals record fine…just like how I sound. but as soon as I hit export…it seems to make the vocals go slower and distored. Then when i restore the session the vocals are now like that for good…same with the source files as I went to wheer cubase stores the recordings and theyve all changed like that. I dont know what am doing wrong or why cubase is doing this but it’s making my life hell
Is the pitch of your vocals lower in the slow/distorted version?
What is the reported sample rate of your project?
Your export window must be set to the same samplerate as your project for the exported file to sound identical.
To resample:
-Go to ‘audio/process/resample’ in the menus!
