I got a Avalon Vt 737 sp that I setup as a external effect using VST connection/ external Effects, to that point it work no problem, but when I freeze the track so I can unload the FX and reuse it on another track, it’s not available in the Steinberg FX anymore and since the original track is NOW frozen I have no access so I can’t deactivate or unload it … is there a workaround that or do I need to record directly and apply the FX to the original signal ?
You could create a 2nd external FX with different software outputs routed to the same Hardware output in totalmix.
Will get tricky when you decide to unfreeze though.
