[Cubase 8.5] Cannot open projects from explorer

Hello everyone and happy holidays.

I have an issue since upgrading to 8.5. I can no longer open projects directly from explorer. Don’t know if something has been reset since the update. I have search for some options in the preferences but I haven’t found anything. I’m on Windows 10 by the way.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Is already a confirmed issue so should be getting looked at.

Works perfectly fine here, why I think it is an install issue.
