Cubase 8.5 crashing and rebooting pc

Hi, my pc force reboots when I have cubase open sporadically and I would really like to fix this problem as its now impossible to be productive. I am happy to send a dmp file to anyone who responds to this. thanks

Hi,

Could you also try to rename/trash your Cubase preferences folder (while Cubase is not running), to get the factory setting?

Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% \Steinberg\Cubase X_64

Where the X is the Cubase version (for example 13).

It seems it crashes in a UAD plugin. You should try to update that plugin or remove it to see if that helps.
