Cubase 8.5 - Full screen, but has a gap at the bottom

Hey guys,

my question is pretty straightforward. I’m on cubase 8.5, opening a new blank session. i’m maximizing the window, and altough it has been maximized, there is a gap at the bottom of the screen. see the image for illustration.

nothing is occupied by this area, why is this? and how can i remove this gap? thank you.

also while we are at it, in the mixer window, how can i have the Stereo Out always on the right side? kind of “on top” like it use to be.

sorry for this all over the place topic. thanks again

That’s not the way it normally looks (at least not on Window 7). No setting in Cubase would do that, not sure what might. Do you auto-hide your taskbar (grasping at straws here)? Maybe reinstalling C8.5 would help.

Channel selector/zones tab.
