cubase 8 and windows 7 x64 prefetch service?

Hi…
do you know if prefetch is neccessary for a daw ?i know that it is not for ssd drives but my system has 1 ssd for the os and 3 others for recordings and samples…what’s your opinion?

Windows by default disable Prefetch once it detects an SSD on your system, in your case it depends where you came from!?
I do not notice any differences in startup with my SSD, so its out in my case!

I know that windows disable prefetch on win8 by default if a ssd is in the system…does this apply to win7?
