I’m aware that Steinberg don’t officially support El Capitan yet but know that it works for some with Cubase 8.
My Focusrite Scarlett refuses to work so I’m thinking of picking up a UR12 or UR22 to tide me over. Can anyone confirm they have either UR working with C8 and El Capitan?

Points of note: If you experience any problems selecting your Scarlett as an input or output device on your Mac, please see this article. Scarletts will only work with Cubase 8 when both the interface and the DAW are set to either 44.1kHz or 48kHz before opening Cubase. If either (or both) are set to 88.2kHz or 96kHz, the Scarletts will be selectable, but no audio will pass into or out from the DAW. We are working with Steinberg to resolve this issue and hope to have a resolution shortly.

Yes I have, thanks anyway. I’ve been in discussion with Focusrite yesterday and they confirm there is an issue, at least with the 18i6. The Scarlett does work with other apps under El Capitan, just not Cubase 8. They recommend I change to another DAW!

I think i won’t ever upgrade my Yosemite. I have like 15 unfinished projects and i’m scared to death to loose them.
