So if anyone can help me that would be awesome. I can’t send instruments to anything other than Main Stereo Out with EastWest PLAY. I want piano on 1+2 strings in 3+4 etc. All outputs are activated but PLAY is unresponsive in cubase 8.0 win7 any clues? It worked in 7.5

I think you are looking at the same bug reported here:
My guess is that if you click and hold briefly, rather than a fast click, then the menu will appear… but will disappear if you try to select anything from it. Annoying, but vaguely understandable due to the huge advance in windows handling.
I anticipate this should be sorted in next update.
